Website Access
Certain parts of the website are restricted to registered students (UNIR Virtual Campus) through the use of a username and password assigned upon enrollment. Users who are not registered students can access the public sections of the site but must refrain from attempting to access the Virtual Campus.
The user is required to use the website diligently and correctly. In this regard, they agree not to use it:
- To engage in activities that are contrary to the law, morality, accepted good customs, or public order.
- For unlawful purposes or those that harm the rights and interests of third parties.
UNIR disclaims any responsibility derived from the user’s use of the website for such prohibited purposes.
Functionality and Content
UNIR reserves the right to make updates and modifications to the website at any time, without prior notice to users.
These updates may include changes to the information provided, the structure of the site, or the conditions for accessing the portal.
Additionally, UNIR is not responsible for any communication failures and, therefore, cannot guarantee continuous operation or availability of the website. In such cases, the University will take all necessary measures to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. UNIR also informs users that certain content on the website may require specific software to view documents.
Regarding the Virtual Campus for students, UNIR ensures its educational activities through applications designed for use on personal computers with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox browsers. While the platform functions almost entirely on other devices or browsers, UNIR cannot guarantee optimal performance with them. The University is actively working to adapt the Virtual Campus to be as compatible as possible with these technologies.
Students are required to have an ADSL internet connection with a minimum speed of 3MB to access live virtual classes. However, attending these classes is not mandatory to pass the corresponding courses.
Upon enrollment, the student must explicitly authorize UNIR to use their personal data to create an account in their name on the Office 365 platform. This account will allow the student to access the services provided by the Virtual Library and to prepare assignments or presentations using the Office suite free of charge.

All content on the website is protected by intellectual and industrial property regulations. Making it available for use, consultation, or download does not, under any circumstances, imply the transfer of any rights over the intellectual or industrial property of the referenced material or content.
Viewing, downloading, or printing website content is not permitted if done for advertising or commercial purposes, or for distribution, public communication, or modification. Such actions are generally prohibited when they are incompatible with the purpose of this website.
In all other cases, prior written authorization from UNIR is required, and the source must be properly cited.
In any case, the logos, graphics, images, icons, and other elements of the website may not be used separately from the accompanying text or other images and graphics they are part of.
UNIR reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against users who violate or infringe on intellectual and industrial property rights, including claims for damages caused. Additionally, users are obligated to compensate UNIR for any damage or harm that may result from the improper use of this website.

In accordance with Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, Spanish law will apply to any disputes that may arise.
